This presentation will review US contractors' perspective on ground reference information for bidding underground/subsurface contracts.  The speakers will discuss some of the current practices they have seen in contract documents when bidding projects across the US, along with some of the best practices seen over the past years.  While there are still shortcomings of GBR’s in the subsurface industry,  there are more benefits than shortcomings to having proper ground reference information for bidding underground/subsurface contracts. Finally, the webinar will look at future challenges of geotechnical reference information for bidding underground/subsurface contracts.
