2024 New Jersey Golf Outing

For the 13th year, the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey and the DFI Educational Trust are hosting their annual golf outing fundraiser at Lake Mohawk Golf Club. This event raises funds for scholarships to benefit college students studying toward careers in the deep foundations, architecture, engineering and construction industries.

Silent Auction

Be the highest bidder and take home a piece of history from an exclusive collection of sports memorabilia. Past auctions featured autographed photographs by legendary baseball greats Willie Mays and Pete Rose, a Red Bulls Soccer Ticket Package and other signed photographs of Michael Strahan, Paul O’Neill and Willis Reed.

The items that will be offered at this year's outing will be announced soon.

Dress Code

Traditional golf attire is required for all golfers. Golfers must wear golf shoes with soft spikes. Collared and tucked-in golf shirt or sport shirt with slacks or Bermuda-type shorts are appropriate for men. Comparable attire is required for women.

About the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey
Founded in 1994, the ACE name stands for Architecture, Construction and Engineering. The ACE program stands for mentoring high school students and inspiring them to pursue careers in design and construction. It’s now the construction industry's fastest-growing high school mentoring program. The ACE engages sponsors and volunteer mentors to expose students to real-world opportunities and financially supports each student's continued success through scholarships and grants. It’s a unique partnership among industry professionals, architects, interior designers, landscape architects, mechanical, structural, electrical, environmental and civil engineers, construction managers and college and university representatives, who work together to attract young people to their professions. ACE of New Jersey mentors students throughout the state.

About the DFI Educational Trust
The Deep Foundations Institute Educational Trust is an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2006 by the Deep Foundations Institute (an industry association) as its charitable arm.

The mission of the Trust is to support and encourage individuals in the fields of study related to the deep foundations industry by providing scholarships, grants and opportunities to meet and work with deep foundations industry leaders.

The Trust manages 19 Scholarship Funds to provide financial support to students interested in pursuing a career in deep foundations.. In addition, education and outreach programs seek to engage students and young professionals in the deep foundations industry. Each year, several fundraising events are organized to raise awareness and donations for the Educational Trust programs.

Since its founding, the DFI Educational Trust has awarded nearly $2 million in scholarships and grants to at least 500 students studying at colleges and universities across the United States and Canada.

The Trust is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and administered by staff of the Deep Foundations Institute, at DFI’s offices in Hawthorne, New Jersey.
