Sustainability and Carbon Footprint Assessment in Deep Foundations Workshop

The DFI of India Sustainability Committee, in collaboration with the India Geotechnical Society (IGS) Delhi Chapter, is organizing a full-day, in-person workshop on “Sustainability and Carbon Footprint Assessment in Deep Foundations.” The workshop will provide hands-on training on the EFFC/DFI Carbon Calculator, an Excel-based tool developed to enable standardized and transparent carbon footprint assessments for geotechnical works. The workshop aims to offer deep practical exposure, enabling engineers and industry professionals to calculate project carbon footprints, identify carbon hotspots, and support informed decision-making toward decarbonization in the foundation engineering sector.
